ABC's Extreme Makeover Home EditionIn October 2007, Turf Direct, Inc. teamed up with Timberline Landscaping  and ABC's Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Ten-year-old Kayla Woodhouse was one of the 25 diagnosed people in the world to suffer from Hereditary Sensory Autonomic Neuropathy, a rare neurological disorder that lowers sensitivity to pain and temperature. She can only go outside to play after sundown, which means she is forced to stay inside their home most of the time. She can't run and swing and jump rope outside like normal 10-year-olds because there isn't enough room in their house. Turf Direct, Inc. is proud to have helped on this project.

MTV's The Real WorldTurf Direct has been involved in many commercial projects, but recently Turf Direct was asked to help in preparring a building in Lower Downtown Denver for the taping of the eighteenth season of MTV's reality television show: The Real World.

While the project was not very large, it was obviously a very visible project and required the detail that Turf Direct puts into all of its projects. In this picture, the centerpiece of the Courtyard is the basketball court. Surrounding the small court are lounge chairs, a patio table and spa (not visible in this picture). The key of the basketball court is painted to resemble to Colorado state flag.

2006 Parade of Homes WinnerIn 2006, Turf Direct Inc., participated as a landscape designer for the 2006 Parade of Homes in the Colorado Springs area. The Parade of Homes featured more than 45 sites of new homes. In this annual competition, Turf Direct was given awards for Best Landscape and Best Landscape Design for our designs in the Cathedral Pines area. This was a great opportunity for a number of people to see the different designs and possibilities, not only in new home designs but also a large variety in landscaping possibilities. Turf Direct was proud to be a part of the 2006 Parade of Homes and looks forward to the 2007 Parade of Homes.
